New Man Movement (“we,” “us,” “our”) runs coaching programs for men and women, including our flagship program, The Crucible, and Becoming the New Man. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you interact with us — including through Instagram comments and direct messages, our automated conversation assistant, and any forms you fill out as part of scheduling a call with us — why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
What we collect
When you comment on our content, message us, or otherwise engage with us on Instagram, we (or our messaging assistant, on our behalf) may collect:
- Your name, as you provide it to us in conversation
- Your Instagram username
- Whether you’re engaging as part of our men’s or women’s audience path, so we can point you to the right resources
- Notes about what you’re working through or hoping to get help with, based on what you choose to share with us in conversation
- The date you started talking with us
If you take the next step and schedule a call with us, we also collect:
- Your email address and phone number
- A general sense of your investment range for our programs, so we can prepare for and confirm your call
- Your confirmation that you’re okay with us following up with you (see “Your consent” below)
We don’t ask for or seek out sensitive information like medical history, diagnoses, or clinical details. If you choose to share something personal in the course of a conversation, we only keep what’s needed to have a helpful, relevant conversation with you — not a clinical record.
Why we collect it
We use this information to:
- Have a real, useful conversation with you about whether our program is a good fit
- Point you toward the right path (our content and offers differ somewhat for men and women)
- Understand, in general terms, what challenges the people we talk to are facing, so we can make our coaching and content genuinely more useful over time
- Confirm and prepare for a scheduled call, and understand your general readiness to invest in a program so that call is a good use of your time
Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent your information to anyone, and we don’t share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. It’s stored in the tools we use to run our business:
- Manychat, the platform that powers our messaging assistant
- Jotform, which powers the scheduling form you fill out before booking a call
- Calendly, which powers the call-booking itself once you’re routed there
- Google Workspace, where our team keeps organized notes
- Instagram/Meta, which retains its own copy of any direct message as part of operating the platform — this is outside our control, since we don’t own the messaging infrastructure itself
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we have a real reason to, on a defined and automatic schedule rather than holding onto it indefinitely:
- If we talk but you don’t end up joining the program, we delete your name, username, contact details (email/phone), and path information 12 months after our last conversation or scheduling form submission with you.
- If you join the program, we keep that same information for as long as you’re enrolled, plus 24 months afterward, then delete it.
- Notes about personal challenges you’ve shared with us are held for a shorter window — 30 days after a conversation goes quiet if you don’t join, or only until they’ve served their purpose in getting you properly set up if you do — and are then deleted or stripped of anything that identifies you.
- Your investment-range response is kept on the same schedule as your contact details, since it’s part of the same scheduling record.
One limitation worth being upfront about: we can only delete data from the platforms we actually control. We don’t control how Instagram/Meta, Manychat, Jotform, or Calendly handle or retain data on their own systems. We’ll always delete our own records within our control, but we can’t reach into those platforms’ underlying systems and delete their copy of your information on your behalf.
Your consent
When you submit our scheduling form, you’ll be asked to confirm you’re okay with us using your contact details to follow up about your call. You can withdraw that consent at any time using the contact options below — we’ll stop reaching out and treat it as a deletion request unless you tell us otherwise.
Your rights
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- See what information we have about you
- Correct anything that’s inaccurate
- Delete your information from our systems
- Stop us from using it going forward
To do any of this, just message us on Instagram @northwindroars or email us at info@ewancorlett.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time and won’t make this harder than it needs to be.
When you ask us to delete your information, we’ll delete it from the systems we control — our messaging platform, scheduling form, and internal notes. As noted above, we can’t delete data on your behalf from Meta’s, Manychat’s, Jotform’s, or Calendly’s own systems, since those aren’t under our control.
Children
Our programs and content are intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we become aware that we have, we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our practices evolve. We’ll update the date at the top when we do.
